A significant part of wrinkle cream is vitamin A. Of course, each product will want you to believe that its the best at smoothing away wrinkles. In fact, many employ deceptive tactics to make you think that they are working. One of these includes adding tiny pieces of glitter to these creams. The glitter reflects light out of the creases in your skin. This gives the illusion that your wrinkles have completely disappeared. Your new younger looking skin will wash away when you wash you face.
You need to know the effects of vitamin A if you are going to be using anti-aging creams. Retinol and vitamin A are the same thing. It is used to literally erase wrinkles. This process can take a few days or even a week or two. Don’t worry. You will definitely see a difference.
Retinol causes skin to stay elastic. Moreover, when using skin care products that contain retinol you skin will retain moisture. It can even, in some cases, be used to “plump” wrinkles so that they are stretched full, tight and smooth.
However, retinol also has some associated complications that you need to be aware of. You will become very sensitive to the sun. No matter what form of vitamin A you are using, it can still make you very sensitive to the sun. You can get a burn from just being outside for a little while on a sunny day. You should always wear sunblock on your face if you don’t want wrinkles.
In addition, retinol can create issues for people with very sensitive skin. You can develop breakouts and dry skin in addition to removing wrinkles, when you use vitamin A. However, these are actually often found to be the results of “over-doing” the vitamin A treatments. If you are worried about this then you can test your vitamin A product before using it. Put a small amount there two times a day for around a week. If you don’t have redness or swelling then you will be just fine. But, you must watch your skin carefully to be sure you are okay.
I have one more warning. Comply with the directions. You shouldn’t use vitamin A if you just want to put any type of moisturizer on your skin. This is for people who are serious about beauty. Vitamin A, when used the right way, can permanently remove all wrinkles, most of the time.
